Deborah Raney was pure delight on our show this month.
Here’s a glimpse into Deborah’s writing life:
From the moment Deborah Raney opened the cover of “Tip and Mitten” in the first grade, she has loved to read. After spending two happy decades as an at-home mom to two sons and two daughters, Deborah Raney finally began working on her first book. Now she’s the author of numerous novels, which have won awards such as the RITA, the National Readers Choice Award, the HOLT Medallion, and the ACFW Carol Award. Impressive!
Deborah talked about her first book, A Vow to Cherish. The novel launched her career and was made into a movie. She also chats about how much fun it was to attend the Hollywood premiere.
Deborah also told us about her journey toward publication and the creative and cozy way she dealt with a looming book deadline. You’ll love it.
Here’s a sneak peek at the cover for After All, the final Hanover Falls novel. Deborah mentioned on her site that there were still a few tweaks to be made on the cover, but we both agree it’s beautiful!
